As if grown from a petri-dish, Fractal Flux is the ultimate interpretation of WGSN's S/S 15 'Biodynamic.' The Avant-Garde 'creature' expresses the vast polarities which the trend invites, from rippling fractals of textile manipulation, to organic mold-like lace growing and creeping across the surface. It juxtaposes light, diaphanous forms with structured growths and modulating stalagmites and presents us with an intricately sculpted creature whose presence we are not sure whether to shun or celebrate.
The three-look Ready-to-Wear collection employed custom-printed fabric and intricate refabrication to create a wearable wardrobe with distinct trickle-down references from their 'Mother Monster'. These looks seem to grow and morph from ordinary wardrobe staples - such as a sport-blazer, biker jacket and jumper, to showstopping signature looks with wearable but one-of-a-kind features.
